Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the day Tyler and I met. I can't believe it! It went by so fast but at the same time I feel like we've been together so much longer.

We originally told everyone we met on a blind date but left out the fact that it wasn't a friend that set us up, it was the internet. Neither one of us had tried the online thing before and it didn't take long before we came across eachother. For me it was about a week and only a few days for Tyler. It started with Tyler sending me an email and we continued to email all day. The next day we were texting back and forth which led to a phone conversation which led to meeting up that night.

I

mentioned in my profile that I like to be spontaneous from time to time and he suggested that we be spontaneous and meet up. By that time it was already 11 pm, I know it was ridiculous to even consider meeting up that late but he suggested meeting at Wal Mart which is a well-lit public place even that late at night. We were both understandably weary about the situation. He of course got there first because, as he found out, I'm the fashionably late type. I think it made him a little nervous that I might not show. He got bored waiting and wondered over to the fish aisle.

We met up right in front of the betas and when we got married we used them as the center pieces at our reception. We had an absolute instant connection, even though I threatened him with the mase on my key chain if he turned out to be a crazy. After that night we were pretty much inseparable. Tyler's original plan was to meet up that night because he was going out of town a few days later and that would be his excuse if I turned out to be a crazy. Little did he know he'd end up spending every day with me and then texting me constantly when he did go out of town that weekend.

3 1/2 months later we were married. We were both the synical type when it came to relationships and expected to date someone a lot longer before getting married. But it just fell into place and everything was so easy.

People talk about how fast that is, but I just smile to myself and think not everyone knows that they are a 93% match with someone before their first date :) I absolutely adore married life and I am so in love with my husband. I'm the luckiest girl in the world!!
